Sen is a wonderful stud! He's absolutely gorgeous and has that hard to find perlino color. He's just gorgeous to watch under saddle and his coat has a metallic sheen in the sun. He has a very sweet temperament and is extremely lazy under saddle, making him suitable for both juniors and amateurs. He has made the move from Junior Working Hunters to Adult Amateurs with his regular rider Robert. His foals are very colorful, sweet-tempered, and personable. They have had great success under saddle and the oldest have just been started over fences, where Sen's influence on their jumps and movement really shines through. Some of his babies have recently been started western and I'm very excited to see how they do there. If you want color, personality, and movement, this is the boy for you.

The Genetics of Breeding to Immortal Sen
Immortal Sen is a perlino, a double-dilute. He is also homozygous for the black gene, which means that he will not produce palomino or cremello foals. He does not carry the lethal white gene, and is therefore safe to breed to overo mares. Here's the color breakdown:
Black can produce smokey black foals.
Bay can produce smokey black, or buckskin.
Chestnut can produce smokey black, dun, or buckskin.
Gray can produce any of the above colors, but 50% of foals will shed out gray on heterozygous mares.
Homozygous gray will only produce gray, but the foal will carry the dilute gene and can reproduce dilutes.
Palomino can produce buckskin, smokey black, perlino, or smokey cream.
Buckskin can produce buckskin, smokey black, perlino, or smokey cream.
Smokey black can produce buckskin, smokey black, perlino, or smokey cream.
Cremello can produce perlino or smokey cream.
Perlino can produce perlino or smokey cream.
Smokey Cream can produce perlino or smokey cream.
